4 years ago, we were working, studying, and chasing happiness through our passions. The two of us found a love for camping, photography, diving, and travelling, which soon became our constant escape from the norms of everyday life. We were also experimenting in the creative scene by designing some tees for local brand, Onshore Threads, for an Instagram design competition. It was at this point in our lives that discussions started about the possibility of owning a clothing brand.
Fast forward 4 years and every online order, product photo, market stall, everything down to the string on our swing tags, is still managed by the two of us… and that’s the way we like it. Homegrown, with a connection to each product and customer. Small, local, and limited.
To celebrate our 4th birthday, we designed a collaboration tee with Onshore Threads, who gave us the motivation to start it all. We spent a night in the Onshore studio printing tees, sharing a beer, and reminiscing on old times. You can find a behind the scenes video on our IGTV if you’re keen to see the printing process.
In 2021, we will be getting back to our roots and our passions. We will be putting a larger focus on photography through our print store, supporting local artists and brands through meaningful collaborations, and opening some more pop-up stores as we start to turn this dream into a reality.
